HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA
OUR STORY
Be Mine Piercing was established by two longtime friends, Kailee and Sophia!
Our journey began in a high school photography class, where our bond formed, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. After Sophia spent years gaining experience piercing in various cities and states, Kailee proposed the idea of opening a studio right in the vibrant heart of their hometown, Huntington Beach. Recognizing the demand for a studio focused on providing a safe and comfortable piercing experience, along with high-quality jewelry at fair prices, we decided to bring our vision to life!
Sophia has been piercing since 2015 and has been a proud member of the Association of Professional Piercers since 2020. She has devoted herself entirely to her craft, passionately working to transform your piercing ideas into reality through her creativity, artistic touch, and unwavering commitment to your health and safety.
Whether you’re getting your first piercing or your fiftieth, we’re excited to assist you! Be sure to check out our FAQ’s and Studio Policies for more information. You can check out more about the APP (Association of Professional Piercers) here.

STUDIO POLICIES
CAN I BRING MY OWN JEWELRY TO THE PIERCING APPOINTMENT?
We generally cannot pierce with outside jewelry, BUT if the jewelry was purchased at a reputable studio and is from a brand that we know and trust AND is an appropriate fit for the area to be pierced, we may be able to use it. This is ultimately up to the piercer’s discretion.
HELP! MY PIERCING IS IRRITATED, WHAT DO I DO?
Even if we didn’t do your piercing, we’re always happy to take a look at it and do some troubleshooting with you. Feel free to book a “troubleshooting/check up” appointment with us and leave a brief description of what’s going on, or walk in and we will gladly help you and your piercing out!
CAN YOU CUSTOM ORDER JEWELRY FOR ME?
Yes we can! We ask that you ideally come into the studio for a consultation and a chat about what it is you’re looking to order so that we can go over materials, pricing, jewelry style, etc. to get the process started. If you are unable to visit the studio for a consultation, you can always reach out to us via email as well. We love helping bring your jewelry dreams to life!
CAN I TAKE A VIDEO?
We do not allow videos to be taken while piercing services are performed, but we are totally fine with pictures, just ask! :-)

At Be Mine Piercing, our top priority is to ensure that you receive a piercing and jewelry that you love, executed by a trained professional in a safe and hygienic environment. Since 2025, we’ve dedicated ourselves to empowering our amazing clients with the knowledge that they need for an optimal experience in our studio.
You must bring ID to EVERY visit
Anyone getting pierced or having jewelry inserted into a piercing must have a valid, government issued form of ID
Avoid touching your piercings/jewelry
While you’re in the studio, we kindly ask that you refrain from touching, removing, or handling your body jewelry for any reason. We understand that people may do this unintentionally, but handling your worn body jewelry can transfer germs onto surfaces or objects that you come in contact with. Although we take extensive measures to ensure a clean and sanitary environment, avoiding contact with your worn jewelry helps us reduce the risk of cross contamination and the spread of germs. If you need assistance with removing your jewelry, we will be more than happy to help!
How to bring in worn jewelry
When bringing in previously worn body jewelry, please ensure it is contained in a clean container or baggie. It’s essential to prevent any previously worn jewelry from coming into contact with surfaces, cases, or individuals in our studio. If you do not have a suitable container, please inform one of our staff members, and they will gladly assist you in safely storing your jewelry and providing you with hand sanitizer.
Children in the studio
We ask that adults visiting the studio with children make sure they are supervised at all times both while at the counter and back in the piercing room. If you are looking to book an appointment for your child, please read our FAQ section.
Client Guests
As a small studio, we are unable to accommodate large groups. Therefore, we kindly request that you bring two guests maximum with you to your appointment.
Sobriety is required
We have both a legal and ethical responsibility to pierce only those who can provide informed consent while sober. The use of alcohol or drugs before a piercing can lead to various complications affecting the procedure and can pose a safety risk for both you and your piercer. If any member of our team suspects that you may be under the influence, they will ask you to return once you are in a better state to be pierced.
We Love Questions!
When you arrive, please don’t hesitate to ask us questions! At Be Mine, we view it as our responsibility to share information with our clients and empower you with knowledge regarding safe and sustainable body piercings. We want you to get a piercing that you love and feel confident about, so we welcome any inquiries regarding our piercing techniques, the materials used in our jewelry, etc. We take immense pride in serving both new and returning clients, and we enjoy sharing the insights we’ve gained through our years of study, training, and hands-on experience.
